Project info

This is a small project for people with dyslexia and people that would like to learn the English alphabet.

About:
A few years ago, I heard about dyslexia.. I have been reading and learning a lot about it and decided to create a small project that can help dyslexic people. The design work and creating materials was the easy part, but marketing is the part that I struggle with. Perhaps, You could help me grow this as a community and help as much people as possible. I grew up in a small country (Bulgaria) and professionals that deal with dyslexia didn't help me much nor gave me their professional opinion.
Today you would think that everyone can read and write, but that is not always the case... According to a study conducted by the U.S. Department of Education and the National Institute of Literacy, 32 million adults in the U.S. can't read. That's 14 percent of the population. 21 percent of adults in the U.S. read below a 5th grade level, and 19 percent of high school graduates can't read.
The U.S. Illiteracy Rate Hasn't Changed In 10 Years!

I decided to complete this project and keep it ads free or unnecessary objects, which could push anyone away.

Technical:
The website contains the English alphabet and numbers in 2D and 3D objects. If you would like to use the 3D option, You just need to click on the chosen letter image. The 3D model will load under the alphabet, which is interactive and you can control it as you wish.
With the left mouse button you can click and hold to rotate the 3D model. Under the 3D model window, You can find a "Sound" button that will spell the sound of the letter or the number.

Under the "Sound" button there is a video frame that loads a video with example of the English alphabet in writing.

I hope that I am contributing and reaching out to people not only from my country, but worldwide. People that need help to study and learn the alphabet. No matter, if you are just a kid or a grown-up person, I hope this project could help you learn and grow outside the small world of illiterate people.

Good luck and please write me, if you experience any problems! I will do my best to help as quick as possible.

Because I keep the project's website clean of any ads and irritating objects, please donate and support me to improve and grow this project as a community.
